The National Science Challenge 2010
23rd June to 11th August
Watch Singapore’s brightest young minds put their skills and knowledge to the test in both outdoor and indoor science challenges and quizzes. Tune in to Channel 5 each week to watch these 12 secondary school teams progress from the audition rounds to the grand finals through 7 exciting episodes. Stay tuned to see who will emerge as the Grand Champions.

Sci-fi Movie Festival and Forum
4th to 6th August and 10th to 13th August
The Singapore Sci-fi Movie Festival is back once again with another great selection of science fiction movies. Enjoy exciting science-fiction blockbusters such as the “2010”, “Iron Man I”, “I Am Legend”, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and “Avatar”. After each movie screening, participants are encouraged to voice their questions about the science behind the films in a Q&A session with an esteemed panel of scientists.

RoBiotics
11th September
The National Junior Robotics Competition (NJRC) is an exciting and unique event organized annually by Science Centre Singapore and the Agency for Science Technology and Research (A*STAR).
Over the past 10 years, more than 30,000 participants have taken part in the competition and 200,000 supporters have witnessed this premier robotics competition, which celebrates fun and encourages interactive learning.
